How we met 💞

May 29, 2022

The first day we met. Colton picked Kelsey up from the airport in the van and they spent 3 days in the Tetons.

May - July, 2022

That summer, we adventured through stunning national parks—Grand Teton, Capitol Reef, and the Salt Flats. From May to July, Kelsey frequently flew to Utah to visit Colton as he finished med school.

July 2, 2022

Colton asked Kelsey to be his girlfriend in the Walmart parking lot in Logan, Utah.

Fall of 2022

Colton & Kelsey met each other's families. In November, they lived in Florida for Colton’s residency auditions, then wrapped up the year with a trip to Las Vegas with Colton's family.

Jan–March, 2023

We moved out to Logan, Utah for 3 months while Colton finished out his last year of medical school. We did A LOT of snowboarding. Colton got into his #1 pick for residency!!!

Spring-Summer 2023

Colton completed an international medical rotation in Africa, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, graduated from medical school in May, and we celebrated with an unforgettable 3-week trip to Vietnam!

Summer 2023

By the end of June, we moved to Ann Arbor, MI for Colton’s residency at Trinity Health, then explored Toronto and Banff, Canada.

Winter 2023

Colton spent the month of November at an international medicine rotation in Bangalore, India, where he also began planning the proposal. (see proposal video below)

Spring 2024

We went on a trip with Colton's family to Norway, where he proposed!

She said yes!
